Kyle Coon
“Endurance sports are filled with tough men and women. To be competitive requires biblical levels of suffering. Mountaineer Nims Purja, Cyclist Marianne Vos, and Ultra Runner David Goggins are amongst the toughest men and women to have graced the earth. However, none of them hold a candle to Paralympian Kyle Coon. Kyle has been completely blind since he was 6-years old, yet he doesn’t let his blindness shackle him. He’s summited some of the world’s highest peaks and is a professional triathlete. He was the first blind athlete to break 11 hours for an Ironman 140.6. In fact, his time was nearly 30 minutes faster than Goggins. Kyle shares his inspirational story with candor, humor, humility, and honesty. Any audience will leave his presentation realizing that they can do more.”
-Scott Mercier, ’92 Olympic Cyclist
“Kyle is a joy to listen to as he keeps things real and raw. He effortlessly managed to combine a wonderful mix of humor, reflection, motivation and humility into a meaningful and captivating talk.”
-Meghan Sarbanis, former lightweight rower for United States National Team, current OTR/L & running guide for Athletes with Disabilities.

-Scott Mauro, UCF Recreation and Wellness Center Marketing and Communications Manager
“Kyle’s presentation to our group was amazing. Being a group of pediatric health care workers, Kyle’s story was inspiring and very close to home. Many of our Associates loved the comparison of teamwork on climbing a mountain compared to teamwork at work. Kyle is inspiring and we look forward to working with him in the future.”
-Chantelle Capeletti, MSN, RN, CPN Clinical Nurse Educator
“Kyle’s story gives people a sense of hope that they too can grow stronger regardless of where they are at in the emotional part of their vision loss endurance story.”
-Richard Hunter, USABA Marathon National Championships Program Coordinator
“Kyle’s story is one of resilience, tenacity, and good old fashioned elbow grease. His down to earth style accompanied by his inspirational Journey to the Paralympics, the worlds most prestigious athletic stage, will resonate and motivate any group. I laughed, cried, and left with a commitment to push a little harder and raise my personal bar.”
